About Christof De Bruyn?

In 1993, Christof started his career in Health & Safety, PPE related, in Belgium.  Now, almost 30 years later, he is still as dynamic as ever and has been able to build up expertise in many different areas.

At the start, he held various sales positions with both the largest distributor of PPE in Belgium, Vandeputte Safety, and with a global brand of safety shoes, Bata Industrials in Best, the Netherlands.

Then it was time for entrepreneurship.  Perfect Fit Safety became the first company to launch a ‘Pas Bus’ (fitting bus).

To this day, this concept is still a successful formula for fitting PPE that requires a personal touch (orthopaedical support, otoplastics, safety glasses with prescribed glasses, workwear….)

After a successful period, these activities were transferred to a market leader in MRO articles, Descours & Cabaud, which created a Safety business unit.  This business unit grew into a successful strategic department in the company.

Later on, Christof De Bruyn set foot in the Benelux for international brands.  Mapa Professionnel from France and Ejendals from Sweden appealed to Christof’s network to create a market in the Benelux.  Since then, these players have been successful in the Benelux and beyond.

Christof was a member of the Board of Directors of Febelsafe.

As Sales Director at TenCate Protective Fabrics, he managed the international sales team in Europe & Africa.  Convinced of the ‘Challenger’ sales process the entire sales organization was reorganized and transformed into a state-of-the-art challenger sales team.

Summarized: Almost 30 years of experience in all layers of the PPE supply chain. 

Ambitious in his objectives, he grew to become a top management international sales director in a multinational.  He will combine these experiences to be an ‘ideal’ guide in your search for a new employee or new job.
